In Columbia, Missouri, IBM is opening up a brand new facility that will be sure to provide jobs for hundreds of people. Dubbed a technology service delivery center, the facility is expected to host around 800 jobs by the end of 2012, which will be a huge boost to the Columbia economy, as well as the state of Missouri as a whole.
Most of the jobs sound like they will be customer support positions to help the growing numbers of IBM customers with their products. Other specialized jobs may also be available. IBM intends to work with local colleges to recruit and train future employees.
